The most expensive coffee in the world is pooped out by an animal, how about that for exclusive?

Yeah, I saw that on "Live with Regis and Kelly Ripa" Last week (I think)
"Coffee made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet". I bet it tastes like $#it.

So... does anyone have any favorite coffees?

I picked up a hankering for Kona coffee while living for 3 years on Oahu. Too bad it is so pricey.

I drink coffee maybe twice a year.... favorite would be hard to pick, it's not even black coffee

Actually I do sometimes drink coffee but I´m very ignorant about it...I have a bag of organic coffee from the grocery store I brew up sometimes.

I think I´m at a teabag drinking level for coffee

My gf treated me to some very delicious coffee in Mexico though! Mmmmmmm : ):::...

That's funny. Coffee looses its flavor faster than tea, and ground coffee worse than whole beans. Most of the stuff in the stores really doesn't do coffee justice. There is a place near me with an online store (Boca Java) that only roasts the coffee beans when you place your order, so it is just about as fresh as you can get. It is best to grind your own coffee and finish the bag within 2-3 weeks or you loose a lot of nuances in the flavor. Starbucks roasts most of the real flavor out of their coffee and most standard commercial stuff is a ghost of what it could be.

thanks for the info twopynts...it was very interesting

The coffee my gf treated me to in Mexico was fresh roasted...an Oaxaca mocha...fresh roasted Oaxaca coffee with dark Oaxaca chocolate...it was amazing!

That blend sounds really good Entropye. After a trip, my brother brought back some fresh Costa Rican coffee once and it was very flavorful!

Thankfully I have a taste for almost all beverage. Coffee, Tea, Wine -- I'm not picky. Well, I am, but I still like them all!
